Aluminium Front Towers Built for TRAXXAS GT4 TEC

Aluminium front shock towers designed for the TRAXXAS 4WD GT4 TEC 2.0 chassis, GT028. The set improves front-end stability and provides a range of shock-top positions so you can tune the suspension to suit different surfaces.

Made from 6061 T6 aluminium, these towers offer a favourable strength-to-weight ratio compared with stamped plates. The visible facework adds a dimensional look while the core mounting layout remains unchanged for direct fit and reliable performance.

Several pre-drilled mounting holes enable fine adjustment of shock angle. Moving the shock mount inboard or outboard changes mechanical leverage and can be used to dial ride feel, roll control and cornering behaviour. Fitment is straightforward using the vehicle's factory mounting points.

The kit includes stainless steel round head screws: 3x10 - 2pcs and 3x14 - 2pcs. Use standard hex drivers, ensure correct torque on threads and re-check alignment after the first outing to confirm everything is secure.

Parts are very nice. Fit very well. Easy to install. But screws are sometimes to short. And piece was not drilled and tapped deep enough. But overall excellent workmanship. Your shipping leaves a lot to be desired. And it seems tha you got a little confus

Will these towers change shock travel?

The towers keep the original mounting geometry so gross shock travel is unchanged, but angle adjustments can alter leverage and effective response.

Do these require any body trimming?

No body trimming is typically necessary when installed on the GT4 TEC 2.0 standard layout. Check wheel clearance after installation.

What screws are supplied with the set?

Supplied hardware is stainless steel round head screws: 3x10 (2pcs) and 3x14 (2pcs) for secure mounting.
