Aluminium tie-rod and support link set

The ER162 kit supplies aluminium front steering and rear supporting links built for 1/10 TRAXXAS models. This four-piece set swaps thinner stock rods for rigid aluminium links to decrease flex and improve steering accuracy under load.

The 4mm threaded bodies allow clockwise and anti-clockwise adjustment for fine-tuning tie-rod length without changing the end fittings, and the kit is intended as a direct replacement for the listed TRAXXAS models. The upgrade targets structural improvement and consistent setup rather than altering baseline geometry.

Is thread direction reversible for tuning?

Yes. The 4mm thread accepts both clockwise and anti-clockwise turns to lengthen or shorten the link as required for toe and steering adjustments.

Will I need different ball ends?

No, the links are designed for direct fitment and use standard end fittings so you normally do not need different ball ends unless you prefer aftermarket options.

How much stiffer are these compared to stock?

They are noticeably stiffer than thin stock rods, which helps reduce steering deflection under load and improves setup repeatability during runs.
