Alloy motor mount with heat-sink fins

This aftermarket aluminium motor mount fits TRAXXAS E-REVO VXL vehicles and combines a 6061 T6 alloy body with broadened heat-sink fins to help transfer heat away from the motor while keeping the mount stable under load. Its purpose is to improve motor stability and passive cooling rather than replace active cooling systems.

Functionally the mount secures the motor to the chassis and the finned profile increases the exposed surface for heat dispersion. The robust alloy construction is less prone to bending than typical stamped parts, which can lower the risk of motor misalignment and help preserve correct gear engagement during tougher runs.

Consider this part when you want a firmer motor fix and a modest improvement in passive cooling on long runs. It will not substitute for electronic cooling devices, and installation generally requires standard hex keys or drivers to move the motor and fit the supplied screws.
