86T Carbon Spur for TRAXXAS Short Course and Buggy

This 86-tooth carbon steel spur is an aftermarket option for TRAXXAS 1/10 2WD models shown below. Built from hardened carbon steel with a 48P tooth profile and precision machined surfaces, it replaces the stock nylon spur to provide a more durable metal gear in the rear gearbox area.

Fitting is aimed at modellers comfortable with basic drivetrain tasks on TRAXXAS vehicles. Remove the rear gearbox cover, note gear mesh and shimming, swap the nylon spur for the steel 86T and use the included stainless washers to dial in mesh. Tighten hardware to the recommended torque and confirm smooth driveline rotation before running on track.

Notes on wear and tuning: steel-tooth spurs change wear patterns versus nylon, so check pinion teeth and bearings more often after installation.
