Oversized 7075-T6 Motor Base for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO (8S)

This upgrade motor base is intended for TRAXXAS 1/6 Funco Pro and compatible XRT platforms running 8S. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminium, the part improves structural stiffness over the stock plastic mount and focuses on secure motor clamping and accurate alignment for large-diameter, high-power motors.

The rear clamping system utilises a bundled tension adjustment to maintain axial preload under torque, while the side screw bosses include a V-step relief to help stop screws from coming loose under vibration. It accepts 56mm outer-diameter high-power motors and the manufacturer notes HobbyWing 5687/5690/56118 and Castle 2028 as example fits. Because it replaces the original plastic gear protection cover, fitment requires a larger gear protection cover compatible with up to a 28T/1.5 modulus motor gear.

All fastening hardware listed is provided and partially pre-assembled; apply medium-strength thread locker at final assembly to lock components in place. The mount is intended to offer a reinforced, adjustable motor fixing solution for aggressive 8S applications on 1/6 sand cars.
