Large-volume 7075-T6 transmission cover for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO

This CNC-machined transmission gear cover is an aftermarket replacement designed for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD sand car platform. Built from 7075-T6 aluminium and featuring a split cover design, it increases internal capacity compared with the original housing to accommodate larger motor gears and higher-output motor builds while offering a rigid protective shell for the gearbox and motor gearset.

The assembly ships pre-assembled with the supplied fasteners, all specified as grade 12.9 steel. The design documentation states compatibility with GPM motor mounts and the added clearance supports larger spur and pinion setups noted by the original source. For secure operation under load, it is advised to use a medium-strength thread adhesive on the screws to lower the chance of loosening.

Use this cover when moving to larger gear ratios or more powerful motors on the specified TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO 1/6 chassis; apply thread adhesive as recommended and re-check gear mesh if you fit aftermarket motor mounts.
