Sand-protect transmission cover in 7075-T6

This 7075-T6 aluminium transmission gear cover is an aftermarket upgrade developed for the TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD SAND CAR platform. CNC machined for repeatable fit and anodised in several colours, it helps defend the motor pinion and spur gear area against sand and abrasion while aligning to the original mounting points.

The item ships pre-assembled and is intended to replace factory item 10987. For reliable retention on rough terrain, use a medium-strength screw adhesive on the mounting screws to limit vibration-related loosening. This product is only suitable for scale model use and not for full-size applications.

Install TPS038M to strengthen the transmission zone on your FUNCO PRO scale sand car and secure screws with medium-strength thread glue to keep the cover firmly in place during dune sessions.
