This is an aftermarket replacement top cap made for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO SCALE 2WD SAND CAR dampers and compatible original shocks. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, the cap is intended to work with an oil pressure cap to reduce oil loss and improve seal performance inside the shock cylinder.

The original exhaust hole is retained to permit controlled venting of surplus oil and trapped air on initial assembly and compression, while the sealed design helps maintain more consistent internal pressure under working loads. The item is for RC shock absorber use only.
