This aftermarket battery clamp replaces the original strap or clip to secure battery packs on TRAXXAS HOSS 4X4 VXL models. Fabricated from aluminium 6061 T6, the hold-down plate and stabilizer help control pack shift under aggressive driving and provide a larger surface for heat dispersion.

The kit includes a main hold-down plate and a stabilizer that sits over the battery, plus one stainless steel M3 top threaded screw for assembly. The plate features a textured surface to boost airflow contact and encourage cooling, while the stabilizer helps limit lateral movement during jumps and hard cornering. The part focuses on mechanical retention and thermal assistance only.

Installation is simple for experienced hobbyists: remove the stock strap, position the aluminium hold-down over the battery, align it with the factory mounting point, and secure with the supplied M3 screw. Standard hex drivers are sufficient; check thread engagement and torque to protect the screw and chassis threads.
