Centre reinforcement for HOSS midframe

This HS025 centre brace bar and mount set is an aftermarket mid-chassis reinforcement built for the TRAXXAS HOSS 4X4 VXL. It supports the middle of the chassis to limit flex between the front and rear sections, helping the truck maintain predictable handling in typical hobby use.

Fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminium with CNC machining, the component aims to be light yet strong. The kit contains mounting hardware and silicone O-rings to secure the brace in the centre area. It is not compatible with HS049F and HS049R variants.

Does HS025 include all mounting hardware?

Yes, the package includes the centre brace, two mounts, four 4x16 stainless flat head screws, one 4x16 stainless cap head screw and three 3x2 silicone O-rings.

Is any trimming required to fit?

No trimming is expected for standard HOSS 4X4 VXL chassis installations; follow the supplied mounting points and hardware for a standard fit.

Will the brace add much weight?

6061 T6 aluminium provides a modest weight penalty while improving rigidity; the net handling benefit often outweighs the small mass increase.

Can I use this with aftermarket centre braces?

Using multiple centre braces can cause fitment conflicts; check clearances and mounting locations before combining parts.

What performance change should I expect?
