Scale center differential output gears

The FR1200S/G2 kit provides a pair of replacement output gears for the #6780 center differential found on several TRAXXAS 1/10 4WD chassis. Built from medium carbon steel, these gears are intended for routine rebuilds and scenarios where a metal replacement is preferred to the factory parts.

The set includes two matching output gears sold as a pair, intended for use during differential servicing or when fine tuning gear engagement. These are scale RC components and are not designed for full-size automotive use.

Choose these medium carbon steel output gears when performing center differential maintenance or upgrading to metal components; always check that they align with the #6780 center differential before fitting.

A short run-in with light loads and checking mesh afterwards is recommended to ensure quiet operation and correct seating of the gears.
Medium carbon steel can corrode if left wet; rinse and dry components after running in wet conditions and apply a light protective coating if needed.
If the bearings are in good condition they can be reused, but inspect for wear during the rebuild and replace any that show play or roughness.
Use a compatible gear grease for metal-on-metal contact and apply sparingly on the mating surfaces to reduce noise and wear.
