This 16 piece shock set is an upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms aimed at hobbyists who want stronger shafts and adjustable preload. The design combines aluminium bodies with piggy back reservoirs and firmer spring options to alter handling and travel without modifying chassis geometry.

Bodies are made from 6061 T6 aluminium, the shaft is a polished 6mm hardened unit, and the kit includes two coil thicknesses so you can change spring rate. The top spring retainer offers preload control to tune ride height and mid-speed compliance for off-road use.

Fitment is a direct swap for the stock front and rear shocks and keeps the L-shape reservoir to increase internal oil capacity. A sealed shock cap helps cut leakage and the thicker shaft improves resistance to bending on heavy landings.

The TXMS125FRL/2 set is a sturdy aluminium-bodied replacement that gives MAXX owners increased shaft strength, preload adjustability and alternate spring rates for dialling suspension on technical off-road tracks.
