Front and rear heavy-duty CVD upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX

This 20-piece upgrade swaps out cross-pin style drive parts for adjustable constant velocity joints and reinforced hex adapters tailored for TRAXXAS MAXX monster trucks. Hardened steel joint inserts are housed in 6061 T6 alloy bodies and axle diameter is increased to 8mm for improved torsional strength without an excessive weight penalty.

The adjustable CVDs allow small driveline and suspension geometry adjustments; the hex adapters connect via a claw engagement which eliminates the pinhole and provides a firmer interface with the wheel hex. When fitted, the kit increases track width by 2mm per side, which alters roll response and lateral grip characteristics.

Supplied 8x16x5 bearings match the larger axle diameter. The set is offered as an aftermarket drivetrain upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX platforms and installers should confirm bearing fit and wheel clearance during the build process.
