These two plastic ball ends are produced for RC-scale service with TRAXXAS MAXX linkages under the TXMS160S designation. They are supplied as direct replacements to renew worn linkage and steering connections.
The ball ends form the pivot between tie rods and steering components; when they wear, steering becomes less precise and suspension feel changes. Installing the replacements helps return the original linkage geometry and steering feedback.
Fitting is straightforward for hobbyists: remove the worn ball end, screw the new one onto the rod or fitting, then verify that the joint moves freely and is seated correctly. Check surrounding clearances and re-secure any hardware to your previous settings.
Replace as needed to keep steering crisp during off-road sessions.
