Durable alloy fuel cap for Revo

The TRV088 alloy fuel tank cap is a metal replacement crafted for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 platforms. Provided as a single cap with the mounting screw, it offers a tougher alternative to the stock plastic part for nitro RC use.

In nitro applications the cap secures the tank opening and delivers a more wear-resistant sealing surface, which can be helpful when adjusting fuel lines or repeating maintenance routines. The aluminium alloy construction improves durability against repeated tightening while maintaining normal servicing procedures.

Fitting is simple: remove the existing cap, clear any debris from the tank lip, fit the alloy cap and secure the supplied screw. Hand-start the fastener to prevent cross-threading and use a suitably sized hex driver; avoid over-torquing to protect tank threads.

Practical note: swapping to an alloy cap is primarily a durability and service convenience choice, not a performance upgrade. It streamlines repeated tank access during engine setup and fine tuning.
