STRV1201 is an aftermarket hard-steel ring gear manufactured as a single pcs replacement for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo3.3 models. It is intended as a gearbox upgrade to substitute softer stock gears with a more wear-resistant steel alternative.

The component installs in the transmission where it mates with the motor pinion and the spur gear, delivering a tougher contact surface for repeated driving and tuning sessions. It is supplied for model-scale drivetrain use and has no application outside RC models.

Fitment guidance: remove the gearbox cover and old ring gear, ensure STRV1201 seats evenly and that pinion mesh is consistent across the tooth face, then reassemble and spin the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth operation. Check bearing condition and shaft alignment to avoid premature wear.
