6061-T6 wheel hex for Rustler VXL hubs

This aftermarket aluminum hex adapter is made for TRAXXAS Rustler VXL wheel hubs to reinforce the wheel-to-axle interface and widen the track by 2mm. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the adapter offers a practical balance of low weight and reliable strength for off-road use.

The adapter locates between wheel and hub, securing the wheel on the axle and improving lateral support when accelerating or taking corners. Retention pins are used to fix the adapter to the axle, keeping wheel indexing accurate for predictable handling.

Fitment is straightforward: remove the wheel, place the adapter onto the hub, align the axle hole and secure with the supplied pins. Standard wheel removal tools and a hex driver are sufficient, but always confirm fit and clearance after installation.
