Performance-oriented low-CG shocks for Rustler VXL

This 44-piece shock kit swaps factory dampers for shorter, aluminum-bodied shocks built to reduce center of gravity and sharpen straight-line stability on TRAXXAS models. Included are front and rear shocks, a mix of springs and collars, plus all fasteners needed to adjust ride height and damping without chassis trimming.

Fine-tune preload with the top spring retainer or alter spring rate by switching between the supplied 2.6mm (gold) and 2.2mm (silver) springs. The measured assembled lengths are front 75mm and rear 80mm, which lower the shell and can allow a body clearance down to roughly 6mm depending on setup.

On Slash shells the lower stance can risk shell-to-tyre contact; the kit contains aluminum collars to space the body posts and regain clearance. Use different collar thickness combinations to set shock angle and clearance: try front 8mm / rear 12mm for higher positioning and front 12mm / rear 16mm for the lowest ride height as a starting reference.
