This 64-piece upgrade packs front and rear aluminium shocks, hardened #45 steel axle components and spring-steel hex wideners to alter ride height and track width on TRAXXAS RUSTLER and Slash models. The focus is on reducing centre of gravity, shortening shock geometry and widening the footprint for steadier handling on 1/10 off-road tracks.

Key adjustable features include the top shock screw and the changeable springs, enabling preload and ride feel adjustments without extra tools. Front shocks are shortened to 75mm and rear shocks to 80mm to lower the stance; gold and silver springs have different coil wire thicknesses listed in the included parts to vary stiffness. CVD units use hardened #45 steel internal components with 6061-T6 aluminium housings to manage drive forces at wheel joints.

Fitment advice: when installing on Slash bodies that are lowered by this kit, check for tyre to shell contact and fit the supplied aluminium collars between body posts and shock mounts to alter shock angle and support the body. The recommended collar stacks from the source are front 8mm with rear 12mm at maximum body height, and front 12mm with rear 16mm at minimum body height to maintain clearance.
