95mm aluminium rear L-shape shock for short-course

This aluminium L-shape rear damper is built as a direct aftermarket option for TRAXXAS short-course 4x4 trucks including Telluride and Slash 4x4. The piggyback reservoir design keeps additional oil separate from the main body, which helps maintain steady damping across extended suspension travel. The cylinder is CNC machined and arrives oil filled for immediate installation.

With a total assembled length of 95mm the unit aligns with stock suspension geometry to preserve ride height and travel. The damper allows preload and damping adjustments and includes two different spring rates so you can tune the rear response quickly for track or bashing.

Basic mounting hardware and spare collars are supplied so you can try the included springs without sourcing extra components.

Included items are Int.19 x Ext. 22 x L65 x 1.3mm coil spring - 2pcs, Int.19 x Ext. 22.5 x L65 x 1.7mm coil spring - 2pcs, 3x16 stainless steel button head screws - 4pcs, 3x6x2 aluminium collars - 2pcs, and 3x6x3 aluminium collars - 2pcs.

How do I choose spring rate for my driving style?

Use the 1.3mm springs for freer, more compliant rear traction and the 1.7mm springs when you need a firmer rear to reduce roll and improve stability at higher speeds.

Any upkeep advice?

Keep pistons and seals clean, check for shaft damage after heavy runs, and refresh shock oil to retain consistent damping performance.
