Compact LCG shock and wheel set for Slash 1/10 4x4

This aftermarket kit is tailored for TRAXXAS Slash cars, combining shortened aluminium dampers with strengthened drivetrain components and a widened stance to create a lower centre of gravity package. Included are front and rear shocks, hardened steel #45 axle components, spring-steel hex wideners, rubber tyres mounted on plastic rims, and the collars and hardware required to tune geometry and body clearance.

The supplied front shocks are 75mm and the rear shocks are 80mm, which helps the chassis sit lower when fitted. Two spring thicknesses allow easy tuning: gold 2.6mm or silver 2.2mm. Adjust ride feel by swapping springs or changing top screw preload. CVDs use hardened steel #45 internals with 6061-T6 aluminium bodies to balance stiffness and mass.

Track widening comes from spring-steel hex wideners that add 3mm per side (+6mm total), improving lateral grip. Rubber tyres on the supplied rims give consistent traction for flat surface, high-speed driving. This is an aftermarket RC accessory and not a full-size component.

When lowering the car, shell-to-tyre clearance can be reduced; aluminium collars are supplied to space body posts from the shock mount and set shock angle. The source recommends: at maximum body height use 8mm front and 12mm rear collars, and at minimum body height use 12mm front and 16mm rear collars to avoid rubbing.
