Durable 7075 steering blocks for Slash

The GPM SLA021N front steering blocks are designed as RC-scale replacements for TRAXXAS Slash 4X4 front ends. CNC machined from 7075 aluminum, the set replaces standard plastic blocks to provide a stiffer mounting point for front hubs and to accept the supplied bearings.

Supplied bearings mean no extra parts are needed for a standard install, and the low-profile machined shape keeps the visual change neat while limiting any suspension geometry impact. Two tie-rod mounting holes let you alter tie-rod height and leverage to tune steering feel and roll-steer response.

Fitting is simple: remove the stock steering blocks, transfer or press in the bearings that come with the kit, then secure the aluminum blocks into the front hub assembly. The parts are intended to operate within the factory front steering arrangement for compatible TRAXXAS 1/10 4x4 trucks.

Can I use the supplied bearings or reuse old ones?

The kit includes the bearings listed in Packing includes and they are intended for use with these blocks, though you can reuse compatible bearings if they are in good condition.

Will these affect servo load?

Because the blocks increase stiffness at the hub, there can be a small change in steering feel; in most cases servo load remains within normal operating range for typical servos used on Slash 4X4 trucks.

Are there any special maintenance tips?

Check bearing fit and hardware torque after the first few runs, and inspect for play or impact damage regularly to keep steering precise.
