Reduced height magnet mounts for improved handling

This aluminium front and rear magnet body mount assembly is an aftermarket direct-fit for the TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4, replacing taller plastic posts with a low-profile aluminium solution. OD15mm magnets are used to keep the body secured yet removable for maintenance.

The purpose is chassis-level tuning: lowering the body mount reduces lever on the shell and slightly lowers the vehicle's mass centre, which improves stability through corners and reduces body roll under aggressive steering. Installation requires removing the stock posts, fitting the aluminium mounts and aligning magnet polarity, while making sure servo linkages and wiring are clear of the new posts.
