Off-road drive hex for Slash 4x4

This spare drive hex pair fits TRAXXAS Slash 4x4 setups that use SSLA1277RH or SSLA1280FH drive shafts. The twin pack is ideal for replacing fatigued hexes or carrying a ready spare for weekend running.

Fit and function: made to engage the specified shaft codes, these hexes reconnect the wheel hub to the drive shaft. Verify hub clearance before installation and re-use the original retention hardware where suitable to keep bearing preload intact.

Installation notes: take off the wheel and hub assembly to swap the hex, confirm axial seating on the shaft, and check wheel centring after reassembly. Even small changes to hex seating or wheel offset can alter drivetrain response, so inspect slipper and differential settings if needed.

Tuning role: refreshing the drive hexes removes play at the hub, keeping wheel engagement predictable under power and through corners, which helps with consistent handling during practice or competitive runs.

Yet another fantastic set of parts from GPM Iv really been able to have a lot of fun upgrading essentially everything on my new rustler. The parts are so accurate are smooth and immaculate. Great shipping too and well packaged
They are specified for SSLA1277RH and SSLA1280FH only. Check your shaft marking or parts list before purchasing to ensure fit.
It is good practice to replace both hexes together to maintain symmetric hub engagement and consistent handling.
Make sure hex is fully seated, torque retaining hardware correctly, and roll the wheel to confirm free rotation before driving.
