Hardened replacement shaft for T-Maxx driveline

This hardened steel main shaft by GPM replaces the stock centre shaft on 1/10 T-Maxx monster trucks and comes with the required mounting screws. Supplied as a 1pr set, the part is intended as an aftermarket reinforcement for TRAXXAS T-Maxx drivetrains.

The shaft transfers drive torque from the transmission to the wheels and helps eliminate slack and flex under heavy use. Installing TMX1037S can tighten driveline response, reduce the chance of bending during jumps, and cope better with heavier components. Screws are provided to match factory mounting points so fitment normally needs no chassis modification.

Fitment advice: inspect bearings and seals while replacing the shaft, clean mating areas thoroughly, and set screw torque to the chassis recommended values. Check gear alignment after installation to avoid premature wear. This item is for scale RC use only.

If you need a tougher direct-fit shaft for a TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx, the GPM steel main shaft is a straightforward upgrade for driveline durability and tuning support.

The hardened steel construction resists bending and wear better than softer stock shafts, improving torque transfer under load.
No trimming is expected for standard T-Maxx layouts, but always verify clearances and gear mesh after installation.
Yes, the tougher steel shaft is better suited to heavier setups, though check bearings and mounting points for wear when upgrading weight.
Re-check screw torque, inspect for any abnormal wear, and confirm gear mesh remains correct after initial runs.
