This 16-piece aluminium adjustable damper mount set is intended for TRAXXAS TRX4 drivers seeking a tougher mounting point and staged lift options. The aluminium parts address the common deformation of plastic mounts and give several hole choices to change damper geometry and raise the chassis for improved obstacle clearance.

Fitting instructions: use the 3x6x2 aluminium collars as shims between the damper ball ends and the mount, insert the round-head screws from the rear and fasten externally with the 3mm lock nuts. The small parts provided allow retrofit without altering the damper bodies.

Tuning guidance: selecting the upper mounting holes typically lifts the mount by about 6mm from the stock location, while using the lower settings can add about 18mm compared to original mounting. Because lift modifies suspension geometry, plan to adjust tie rod length and steering centre as required. Also consider widening the track or using wider hex hubs to counter the higher centre of gravity and reduce rollover risk when crawling steep sections.
