This heavy brass outer portal drive housing is an aftermarket upgrade for the TRAXXAS TRX4. Manufactured in brass to add rotating mass, each housing increases wheel weight by approximately 50 grams to improve contact and control during slow crawling on rough, low-profile terrain.

The set is configured for use on front or rear portals and is supplied as a matched pair to keep axle balance correct. Extra mass helps wheels maintain bite in ruts and soft sections so the vehicle can regain traction and return to a level stance more reliably.
