Aluminium Front Servo Mount for TRX-4

This gun metal aluminium front steering servo mount is an RC-scale upgrade for the Traxxas TRX-4 platform that replaces common plastic mounts with a metal component to reduce flex. It is designed to handle the steering loads encountered in low-speed crawling.

The mount holds a standard servo in the front axle area and is engineered to align with the TRX-4 steering linkage layout. By keeping the servo fixed relative to the linkage, it improves steering repeatability on technical lines and climbs.

Installation is generally quick for users acquainted with TRX-4 service: remove the stock mount, align the aluminium part with the chassis mounting bosses, and fasten using the OEM screws where appropriate. Check servo horn position and linkage travel after fitting.

When tuning the steering system, combine the rigid mount with the right servo and small geometry adjustments to reduce play. The mount provides structural support but does not alter servo speed or torque characteristics.
