This aluminium bottom plate is an RC-scale protector built for the TRAXXAS TRX4 trail crawler chassis. It installs beneath the front and rear gearboxes to prevent direct abrasion and blunt impacts from stones, dirt and sand commonly found on trails.

Using lightweight aluminium keeps the protector effective without large weight penalties. The design emphasises a slim profile so ground clearance and suspension travel remain usable while vulnerable gearbox surfaces are shielded from repeated knocks.

Installation is straightforward: align the plate with the gearbox lower face and secure via the vehicle underside mounting points.
