Front C hub upgrade in aluminum for trail tuning

This adjustable front C hub kit is intended for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler scale rigs. It replaces the factory plastic C-hubs and standard fasteners with aluminum 6061 T6 parts, Delrin collars, and stainless steel king pins to provide a firmer steering pivot and repeatable damper positioning. The kit is supplied as a 28 piece set for scale trail use.

The kit's tuning focus is steering geometry and damper mounting location. Swapping the C-hub components and adjusting the count of Delrin collars at each damper mount changes damper angle and effective ride height. The design moves the damper mount slightly outward versus the stock vertical orientation, altering lateral support and allowing incremental height changes through collar stacks.

Key installation notes from the hardware list:

• Install the C-hubs and knuckle using the provided king pins and stainless screws, keeping parts clean and lightly greased where metal contacts metal.
• If using the modified tie rod-to-damper connection described in the kit notes, secure tie rods with round head screws 3x18 (2 pcs).
• Damper mounting screw length varies with collar count: no collar use 3x14, one collar use 3x16, two collars use 3x18, three collars use 3x20; confirm thread engagement and avoid over-torque.
• Validate steering link geometry after installation to prevent binding and ensure full travel with your servo and steering stops.
