LS3 V8 Radiator Upgrade for TRX4 Cooling Performance

The TRAXXAS TRX4 V8 LS3 Engine Radiator by GPM is aimed at hobbyists who need reliable engine bay cooling. It uses a built in temperature sensor to switch the high speed fan on and off automatically, producing up to 3.25CFM of airflow to help manage heat. Key construction uses aluminium and stainless steel with a black, heat resistant ABS cover and exhaust pipe for protection.

Mounting Notes for Defender Chassis

Fitting to the TRX-4 Defender requires removal of the manifold side to clear space for the intake plumbing. The crossbar on the original body post should be trimmed to accommodate the intake pipe routing.

Mounting for Front Engine Conversions

For TRX-4s converted to front engine layouts remove the manifold and fit the radiator to the original damper mount and fender. Use the GPM Racing #TRX4028 front damper mount or similar flat mounts to secure both left and right manifolds correctly.
