Wheel hex spacers for TRX4

This aluminium wheel hex adapter kit is produced for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler chassis to move the wheel mounting point 4mm outboard versus standard hexes, bringing tyres nearer the hub and broadening the track to help with balance on technical rock crawling. The adapters allow simple tuning of wheel spacing without changing suspension geometry and are designed to mate with the TRX4 wheel hub and driveshaft interfaces.

Fitting is plug-and-play: the 9mm-thick hex fits over the existing hub and uses the supplied stainless screws and washers, while the wheel is secured with the original wheel nuts and socket screws. Because the adapters move the wheel outboard they can close gaps between tyre and body or let wider tyres clear the chassis. Supplied in several colours, these are intended as a practical stability and scale wheel spacing option for crawling rigs.

Will these adapters affect my steering geometry?

They are intended to alter wheel offset only and do not change suspension pickup points, so steering geometry remains as designed while track width increases slightly.

Can I run wider tyres with these installed?
