Scale crawler tyres intended for TRAXXAS TRX4M chassis, supplied with foam inserts and measured at approximately 62mm outer diameter and 20.5mm width for 1.0 inch wheel applications. The low durometer butyl rubber was chosen to maximise traction at crawl speeds while the foam insert and internal reinforcement keep the tyre profile stable under articulation.
Manufacturer notes list a 25-degree soft compound and added internal reinforcement to reduce tearing and extend life. The tyre construction aims to reduce slipping on wet surfaces versus hard plastic tyres, and the insert provides useful sidewall support to keep the tyre working during heavy flex.
For installation the inner diameter is designed slightly tight to minimise tyre rotation on the rim, the extended bead tongue helps clamp the tyre, and the rim design supports longer fixing screws for direct attachment. The clamping thickness is minimal to simplify mounting and a one-handed compression tool is recommended for seating tyres over the insert.
