The GPM front L-shape spring damper is an aftermarket replacement intended for TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER style vehicles and other compatible rigs using a 135mm front damper arrangement. It is built to control suspension movement and absorb impacts across rough terrain.

Notable upgrades from the original specification include an increase in coil spring wire from 1.8mm to 2mm to broaden spring rate choices while preserving compatibility with the stock spring, a stiffer 5mm damper shaft instead of 3.5mm for improved structural rigidity, and an aluminum-machined damper body with a sealed spring retainer to minimise oil leakage.
