160mm Aluminium Rear Internals

This is a scale rear internal shock set intended for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis, supplied as a rear pair. It replaces stock internal components to deliver more consistent damping and increased durability for off-road use.

Fabricated from 6061 T6 aluminium with precision sealing to limit oil leakage while keeping weight low. The units are filled with a higher viscosity suspension oil to boost damping response and the shaft size is increased from 3.5mm to 5mm to better resist bending under load.

Installation is straightforward as a direct replacement for the rear internal shock assemblies on the stated chassis; use the original mounting hardware and confirm shaft alignment during fit-up. For tuning, vary oil viscosity and spring preload to achieve the desired rebound and compression balance for your running surface.

Just received Avery well packed and vey shiny box of GPM parts... all look great... only one negative... and probably on my part... the discs and calipers come in sets of 4... not 4 discs or 4 calipers.. oh well another order to follow... great service th

How do I service these shocks?

Service by disassembly, clean internal parts, replace seals if needed and refill with your chosen oil weight before reassembly.

Are the shafts stronger than stock?

Can I tune rebound separately?
