18-piece stainless protection for Unlimited Desert Racer

The UDRZSP567 set delivers an 18pc shield kit of 1mm and 2mm 304 stainless steel plates made for Traxxas 1:7 Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale models. Plates are placed across front, centre and rear chassis sections to help prevent direct impact damage to the chassis shell and battery cover during demanding off-road runs.

Supplied hardware enables direct swap-in of the metal plates in place of the original plastic guards or to add reinforcement where needed. Two POM collars are supplied to sit between a plate and the rear axle case to stabilise the mounting, and double-sided tape sections are pre-applied around the battery cover area to improve adhesion when installed.

Fitment is straightforward: remove the original screws where the plates locate, align the plates and fasten with the provided screws. The kit contains both round head and flat head screws in the sizes shown in the original item contents, and POM collars are used where noted to avoid interference with moving parts. For best results with the tape, clean and dry the chassis surface and warm the tape and cover briefly before pressing firmly.
