This aluminium piggy-back internal damper serves as a scale replacement for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1/7 chassis. The L-shape outer body contains a built-in piston arrangement and the 160mm length matches the front shock geometry for the compatible model.

Fitment is typically a plug-and-play swap at the front damper locations when mount spacing and eyelets are compatible; retain the existing spring and top retainer where possible. Adjust damping by moving the top spring retainer and by turning the red adjuster screw on the negative-pressure chamber to change internal preload and oil flow.

Designed to let you tune rebound versus compression and adjust perceived spring rate without altering shock length or replacing springs, this part is aimed at on-car suspension setup rather than cosmetic enhancement.
