Centre chassis skid plate

This aftermarket centre skid plate is designed for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 and is formed from 1mm 304 stainless steel. The plate fits over the vehicle's central undertray to reduce direct abrasion to the chassis rails and the battery cover when running on grit, stones or rough ground.

To install, remove the stock fasteners around the battery cover, lay the protection plate over the centre chassis and secure it using the supplied flat head screws. A length of double-sided tape is supplied to help hold the plate during fitting; for optimal adhesion clean and dry the surface first and warm the tape and cover with a hair dryer before pressing firmly.

The clean metal finish provides a consistent look under the vehicle while keeping extra weight low because of the thin 1mm sheet. This is a wear-oriented component and a mounting surface rather than a structural upgrade, intended to extend service life during demanding off-road use.

Use the supplied screws and tape for installation, verify fitment and alignment before final torque, and inspect fasteners and adhesive after runs in sandy or abrasive environments.
