Front axle CVD reinforcement for Unlimited Desert Racer

This aftermarket front CVD assembly is made for TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer models to swap in for standard dogbones and extend front driveline life. Power flows to the front wheels through an SST joint mated to a hardened steel body to improve load response without changing the vehicle's original driveline layout.

The set includes two complementary front CVD halves meant to integrate with existing dogbones and related driveline pieces. The extra duty profile increases diameter from 4.5mm to 6.5mm and keeps a 96mm midpoint dogbone length to maintain the Unlimited Desert Racer's designed geometry.

Fitting is typical for front CVD replacements: remove the stock dogbone ends, position the CVD halves at the axle and hub interfaces, tighten SST joint fasteners, and confirm that splines and suspension travel are free of interference. Use thread locker on final fasteners and recheck clearances after a test run.
