Front pinion description

This front differential pinion is produced for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER platform, model UDR1200SF/G2, and replaces the original front pinion inside the front gearbox. It is intended for standard maintenance and light upgrade use.

Construction and purpose: the component is made from hardened steel #45 to offer improved wear characteristics over common stock alloys. The tighter clearance between mating gears helps smoother tooth engagement and steadier torque delivery across the front differential.

Fitment notes: installation requires opening the front gearbox to remove the stock pinion and fit the replacement. Follow normal gearbox teardown procedures, check gear alignment and mesh, then reassemble. Supplied as a single pinion for servicing or basic tuning of the front differential.
