Heavy-duty front skid for Unlimited Desert Racer

This front skid shield is an aftermarket item for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 Pro-Scale, supplied as the GPM UDRZSP5 kit. Cut from 2mm 304 stainless steel, the plate offers a corrosion-resistant protective surface for the gearbox area and the lower chassis panels and is finished with a brushed texture for a purposeful metal look.

The shield is intended to lessen impact and abrasion to the gearbox and chassis when negotiating stones, compact sand and other abrasive terrain at scale speeds. It attaches to the stock screw points and uses the included fasteners so no additional parts are necessary.

To fit, remove the original screws at the mounting points, align the plate and secure with the supplied flat head screws. Verify screw tightness and clearances and re-check after the initial run to ensure secure installation.

The package contains the stainless skid plate and the necessary fasteners to directly replace the original lower plate.

Install this GPM front skid plate to add a robust stainless underbody layer and improve protection for the gearbox and lower chassis during scale off-road use.
