Aluminium rear axle housing carrier for firmer bearings

This rear axle case carrier is a 14-piece RC-scale aluminium replacement made for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER. It stabilises differential bearings and helps keep gear engagement consistent by reducing unwanted movement in the drivetrain.

Fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminium, the carrier emphasises accurate bearing seating and durable mounting points. The intent is to improve alignment under load without changing gear layout or ratios.

Use the supplied stainless steel 3x16 round head screws to secure gearbox covers and clamp bearings in place; tighten progressively to set the desired bearing clearance instead of pressing bearings manually. The set is useful when fine-tuning gear endplay or replacing worn gearbox cover pieces on the specified chassis.

Fit this aluminium carrier to reduce drivetrain slack and maintain cleaner diff gear engagement on the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER; tighten screws to control bearing clearance as recommended.
