Rear L-shape piggy back shock kit for Traxxas UDR

This aluminium rear L-shape piggy back damper kit is intended for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER platform and is supplied as a 4-piece rear suspension set. It combines two coil-over spring dampers with two internal dampers to reduce internal friction and improve impact absorption across rough ground.

Each damper body is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium with sealed construction to limit oil loss, and a higher concentration suspension oil is recommended for consistent damping. Shafts have been increased from 3.5mm to 5mm for improved stiffness, and the coil spring wire thickness is raised from 1.8mm to 2.0mm while retaining compatibility with the stock springs for softer setups. The L-shape piggy back reservoir lengthens oil travel to smooth damping on long strokes.

Fitment and tuning tips: confirm mid-point distances before installation - spring damper mid-point is 139mm and internal damper mid-point is 160mm. Check shock tower clearance, start with stock springs if you are unsure, and then adjust oil weight and preload to refine rear traction and handling for your preferred surface.
