UDR rear gearbox pinion

Designed for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER UDR platform, this aftermarket rear differential pinion carries the model number UDR1200S/G2. It is intended as a drop-in replacement inside the rear gearbox to refresh or upgrade the differential assembly.

Materials and purpose: the pinion is made from hardened steel #45 to give improved wear resistance over common stock gears, and the profile reduces backlash to promote smoother engagement and longer component life under typical off-road use.

Included items: one pinion gear and four stainless steel flat head screws 2.5x8 are supplied to match the gearbox mounting arrangement.

Fitting advice: install into the rear gearbox as the differential pinion, tighten the supplied screws, then rotate the assembly by hand to verify mesh before applying power to the model.

This part is made for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER UDR and installs as the rear differential pinion in that platform.
Four stainless steel flat head screws 2.5x8 are included for proper mounting in the rear gearbox.
After fitting, check gear mesh by hand and make micro adjustments so the gears run smoothly with minimal clearance, then secure and recheck after a short run-in.
