Heavy-duty CVD wheel joints

This set of wheel joints is an RC-scale replacement designed for TRAXXAS X-MAXX 8S models that demand greater drivetrain strength. They connect the axle case to the front or rear CVD and are intended to reduce slop while taking higher torque loads from powerful brushless setups.

The joint shell is produced at a 1.5mm thickness and the shaft pin diameter is increased by 0.5mm compared to the original, with the outer diameter raised from 17mm to 18mm to improve driveline power transfer. These dimension changes focus on enhanced mechanical durability and a firmer CVD fit without altering the vehicle geometry.

Fit notes: these joints replace the stock part where the driveshaft meets the axle case and CVD. Basic disassembly of the axle housing and CVD is required, and standard RC tools plus thread locking are recommended. Sold as a 2pcs set for one axle position.
