Upgraded front CVD shafts for XO-1 performance

This front CVD drive shaft set is specified for the Traxxas XO-01 and uses model number SXO1280FHA. It replaces the front half-shafts supplied from the factory and aims to give a stronger, more wear-resistant alternative for the front drivetrain.

The design uses stainless steel 304 in the axle joints combined with a 6061-T6 aluminium shaft body to maintain a low mass while increasing tensile strength. The coupling is housed inside the axle body and silicone o-rings at the joint interface help reduce shock transmitted to the CVD on heavy impacts. The shafts are made a touch thicker than stock to boost service life without altering mounting geometry.

As a direct bolt-in upgrade these shafts preserve OEM fit while offering better joint durability and corrosion resistance. They are available in a range of anodised colours for simple visual customisation during maintenance or upgrades.
