Stiffness Upgrade Chassis Plate for XO-1

This aftermarket 4mm aluminium main chassis plate is built for compatibility with the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform and comes as a single set including stainless steel mounting screws. The heavier duty aluminium offers a firmer starting point compared with standard composite plates and is used to adjust chassis flex for tuning.

Careful installation helps ensure correct function: align motor and gearbox before progressively tightening fasteners, use the specified hex driver for the supplied screws, and avoid overtightening to prevent thread stripping or plate distortion. The change in chassis stiffness affects suspension behaviour and weight transfer, so small setup tweaks can produce significant handling differences.

This is an aftermarket hop-up for 1/7 to 1/8 scale XO-1 based speed models intended for hobby and track tuning purposes only. It is not suitable for use on real vehicles.

No, this is an aftermarket upgrade designed for compatibility with the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform and not an OEM component.
The aluminium plate adds some weight low on the chassis which can lower centre of gravity slightly and change weight distribution, so check balance after fitting.
Pair with a matched motor and ESC and consider stiffer springs or adjusted damping to get the best handling balance with the stiffer chassis.
Use the correct hex driver, tighten in stages and, where possible, use a torque-limited driver to reduce the risk of stripping threads.
