Just finished building a 4-tec 2.0 with GPM parts. SOOO beautiful. After having a bad experience building a wltoys this summer it was nice to once again do another build using GPM parts. The website is nothing to brag about but, the parts are top quality.

Will this change gear noise?

A correctly installed hardened steel spur can run quietly; excessive noise usually signals incorrect mesh or worn pinion. Check backlash and alignment during installation.

What grease should I use?

Use a lightweight gear grease suitable for metal gears. Avoid heavy pastes that can trap debris and increase wear.
