Aluminium Sub-chassis for XO-1

This aluminium sub-chassis is a direct aftermarket hop-up for TRAXXAS XO-1 applications, retaining the stock mounting layout while replacing the factory plate with a 5mm aluminium component to influence chassis stiffness and mass distribution.

Delivered as a single pcs set, the plate suits hobbyists refining chassis setup. It creates a firmer undercarriage to affect handling balance during cornering and braking without altering servo, ESC, or drivetrain elements.

Fitting notes: the part uses XO-1 mounting points and common button head screws for attachment; follow the chassis fastener pattern and torque to hobby-standard values. Verify motor and suspension clearances after fitting to prevent interference at full travel.

Is any trimming required for standard XO-1 bodies?

Most standard XO-1 bodies remain compatible, but always check for clearance around battery and motor areas after installation.

Will this affect corner speed?

Increasing stiffness can change cornering characteristics; you may see different entry and mid-corner behaviour, so adjust suspension tuning accordingly.

What screw sizes are included?
