This aftermarket aluminium chassis plate is produced for the TRAXXAS XRT 8S 1/6 scale 4WD platform and intended solely for RC models. CNC machined from 7075-T6 and finished to a 6.0mm thickness, the plate adds stiffness to the factory chassis and improves wear resistance across key mounting areas.

Function and location: fitted beneath the front, centre and rear chassis bays, the plate ties rails together to reduce flex under load and to protect the underside from impact and abrasion while running offroad. It is a structural hop-up aimed at better handling repeatability and a firmer baseline for suspension tuning.

Installation advice: included are flat head screws for attachment; use the original mounting points and apply moderate hand torque to avoid thread stripping. The plate is supplied for direct installation on the listed TRAXXAS model and normally requires no cutting or drilling when used on compatible chassis.
